The Dep艺术ment of 视觉艺术 offers three bachelor of fine 艺术 (B.F.A.) degrees, an associate degree, and four minors. A B.F.A. degree is set ap艺术 from other undergraduate degrees by the large amount of hands-on studio time included, and the chance to collaborate and explore all the visual 艺术s.

Film 主要s can study for a semester in Hollywood through the LA Film Studies Center. WWU is the only Adventist university with this p艺术nership.
Film 主要 (Bachelor of Fine Arts)
拿个B.F.A. 在电影, you will take core classes in creativity and visual storytelling but will also complete studio hours that help develop your craft while preparing portfolio pieces. A film degree will prepare you to work at all stages of film production. You will augment your studies with LA film studies, 业务, 沟通, 留学课程, 或者戏剧课程.
Fine Art 主要 (Bachelor of Fine Arts)
作为B.F.A. in fine 艺术s 主要, you will take core classes in creative foundations and visual storytelling. You will also complete studio hours that hone skills in a chosen 艺术 form and prioritize collaboration across 主要s. You will expand your study through a chosen cognate track for well-rounded career preparation.
Graphic Design 主要 (Bachelor of Fine Arts)
追求B.F.A. 在平面设计中, you will take core classes in creativity and visual storytelling, but also complete studio hours strengthening collaboration skills. You will learn to use visuals to reach an intended audience with a specific message, often through branding development, 出版设计, 包装, 摄影, 或者网页设计. You will be able to expand your study through a chosen cognate track.
视觉艺术 specialization (Associate of Fine Arts)
一个一个.F.A. in visual 艺术s will allow you to get technical and occupational preparation 在电影 and tv, 艺术, 设计, 以及视觉艺术. An associate degree program typically takes two years, and does not include extensive studio hours or a cognate track.

A film minor pairs well with many 主要s and is a good choice for those interested in visual storytelling. You'll take classes in creative foundations and film courses like audio, 后期制作, and virtual reality storytelling.

A minor in fine 艺术 requires 28 credits of creative foundations and fine 艺术 like painting, 雕塑, 或版画. You will gain hands-on practice in a range of fine 艺术s.

A graphic 设计 minor requires 28 credits in creative foundations and graphic, 网络, 包装, UX/UI设计. You will be prepared to marry graphic 设计 skills with those of your 主要.

A 摄影 minor requires 28 credits in creative foundations and 摄影. You will be prepared to tell stories with a camera and be a practiced creative.
